AI resume tailoring that still sounds like you

Your resume, rewritten for the job. Still in your voice.

Most AI resume tools swap in better words. That is the part recruiters spot. Fitted fixes the rhythm, kills the stock phrases, and refuses to invent a single number you did not give it.

2 free tailored resumes. No card to start.

What the machine voice actually looks like

A recruiter reading forty resumes an hour cannot explain why one feels generated. They just move on. It is almost never the vocabulary. It is that every line is the same length, opens the same way, and says nothing you could check.

Typical AI output

Spearheaded cross-functional initiatives to drive operational efficiency and streamline key processes.

Says nothing. No number, no tool, no outcome.

Fitted

Cut invoice processing from 9 days to 2. Rebuilt the approval flow in NetSuite with the AP team.

Typical AI output

Leveraged data-driven insights to optimize customer engagement and enhance retention outcomes.

Three abstractions in a row. Every line in the resume reads this length.

Fitted

Found churn spiked at day 40, not day 90. Moved onboarding calls earlier and kept 11% more accounts.

Typical AI output

Passionate results-driven professional with a proven track record of exceptional delivery.

Four adjectives about yourself, zero facts.

Fitted

Ops manager, 14 years in manufacturing. Mostly plant floor, some ERP migrations.

Where the numbers come from

Yours. If a bullet needs a figure and your resume does not have one, Fitted leaves the line plain and asks you the question instead of making something up. Every claim it cannot trace back to what you uploaded gets flagged before you export. You decide what ships.

What we will not claim

No tool can guarantee a resume passes an AI detector. Those detectors disagree with each other and regularly flag writing done entirely by hand. Applicant tracking systems do not run them anyway; they match keywords and parse structure, which is what our exports are built for. Anyone selling you guaranteed undetectability is promising something they cannot control.

Fit Score with a real breakdown

Content, alignment, and polish scored separately, plus the exact keywords you're missing.

A humanization engine, not a thesaurus

Every bullet needs a number, a tool, or a named outcome. Banned phrases are banned, not 'discouraged'.

Fabrication guard you can override

Anything not traceable to your uploaded history is flagged as a soft warning — never silently invented.

Questions people ask first

Will an ATS be able to read the resume?
Yes. Exports are single-column with real selectable text, standard section headings, no tables and no text boxes, which are the things that break applicant tracking systems. You can also preview the exact plain text an ATS extracts before you send it.
Will it look like AI wrote my resume?
That is the thing Fitted is built to prevent. Every version is scored for humanness against seven measured signals, including bullet-length variation, how lines open, repeated verbs and machine vocabulary. A resume does not pass until it reads like a person typed it.
Does it invent experience I do not have?
No. Facts are immutable: employers, titles, dates, numbers and credentials are preserved exactly. Where a keyword cannot be traced to something you actually did, it is left off and reported to you as a real gap rather than papered over.
Can I export to Word as well as PDF?
Yes. Both are ATS-safe and both are produced from the same content, so they cannot drift apart. Many employers and older tracking systems specifically ask for a Word document.
Is it free to try?
Two tailored resumes are free, with no card required. After that you can buy a single export for $6.99, or subscribe if you are actively job hunting.
